Well we got settled on Blackrock finally. Haven't had to open any new tickets for anything today! Yay! We got our guild name back and Augas had his guild rep restored. I've somehow miraculously gotten help from a GM with my legendary quest disappearance. It's a good day...
As those of you that are moving over start the process, please keep in mind the Stay Classy guild achieve. Here's a list of what we'll be needing to grab that 8th bank tab for Augas:
Trolls - All Classes Undead - All Classes Goblins - All Classes Blood Elves - All Classes Orcs - Mage, Warlock, Rogue, Warrior, DK Tauren - Hunter, Priest, DK, Shaman, Paladin
If you're still broke from Christmas, but plan to move, please take a minute to go save your names at least. We've found a lot of the ones we had are taken so you'll either have a chance to snag your original or come up with something new.
Those of you working on Legendaries... please be aware that your alliance quest will be removed from your logs when you faction change to Horde in WoW. It's advisable to get to a turn in point in your quest before you move (embers, cinders). Currently the only person I know of that is "safe" for moving that's working on the quest is Sparky. I don't remember how many cinders Oro has. In either case, if you're close to finishing embers/cinders, please let me know so we can try to schedule raids there before you move. Otherwise, I'd strongly encourage you to put in a ticket BEFORE you move to talk to a GM about how to best handle moving. My quest got reset to 0/250 on essences and I had to ticket to figure out a way to get that corrected (thankfully, they were able to work with me!).
For people staying on Dethecus, but not going to Pure or Karma, Elmindreda has offered people to move into her guild (Aes Sedai). Let her know if you need any help there =)
On the SWTOR front, the guilds a steady 8 or so people I think. Just a reminder that we're on Lord Praven, Empire side. Hit up Eudaemonea or Ragen for ginvites when you get that game.
We're estimating starting raids again around 1/17/2012 in WoW and have no ETA for raiding in SWTOR (people still leveling there). Feel free to pug or do whatever between now and then.
Thanks! Eudy

Just wanted to let you guys know that we have finally decided to move servers. We kept hoping that Blizzard would address the issue they have with extremely low pop (i.e. dead) servers, however they seem to continue ignoring the problem. After playing SWTOR for the last week, I've realized what really makes a game fun and engaging is the amounts of people that you can do things with. Either asking questions, grouping together, or just chatting, a FULL server = more fun. Flip side of that is coming back to WoW and logging in to........nothing.
That's just not much fun.
So, Augas and I talked about it some more last night and decided to just go ahead and get us settled somewhere with a high population so we can start enjoying THIS game again.
We had a few options available to us. We narrowed it down to Blackrock or Illidan (horde side) or Tichondrious or Proudmoore (alliance side). I actually leveled another druid fully to 85 and started raiding with it on Blackrock. Of the server options, this one seems to be optimal for us due to population, newness of the datacenter it runs from (so lower ping times), healthy economy and just sheer amount of "stuff" to do. We really wanted to make sure that if/when we moved, it would be the last time we do it. Blackrock should be stable until the game finally dies out foregoing any unknown issues that may come up in the furture(let's cross our fingers and pray nothing does though!).
Anyone that wants to move with us is more than welcome to, however I want each of you to be VERY clear on what our goal is going forward before you spend real money moving with us. Raid spots will be very limited. We will be going back to 10 mans and we will be doing some SERIOUS raiding. That means if you want to raid, you'll have to pull your own weight without one of the officers holding your hand and spoon feeding you. It was one of the things that was dragging us down and not wanting to play anymore. If you know that you are just too casual for that, but still want to be with us, feel free to either use Looking for Raid or pug things. We enjoy everyone in the guild on a personal level but when it comes to raid time, there are some people that just don't play at the level that many of the officers want to be gaming at currently. I know that sounds harsh, but it is what it is.
If you don't want to move with us, I have spoken to Katsumi (Karma) and Renounce (Pure) about future guild placement for those of you remaining on Dethecus. Speak to either of them to switch guilds. Katsumi is looking for more raid oriented people she said (even if undergeared). Either place you should find a warm welcome in any case.
The other option available is to just stay in the guild, however be aware that it will revert to Level 1 status and all guild perks will be gone.
You should receive either in game mail or email giving you instructions on how complete the transfer with the guild if you choose to do so.

As some of you have heard either in vent or in gchat, quite a few of us did the Beta testing for SW:TOR this last weekend. Most of this guilds officers have already pre-ordered the game. This is not to say we will not be playing WoW anymore. We will be! But we'll also be playing the new game at launch much like we did when Aion came out a few years ago.
Like Aion, we've decided we're more interested in the Dark Side...than the sissy wimpy Light. I'll be rolling a Sith Inquisitor and learning to be as evil as I can possibly get bwhahaha. In any case, if you're interested in playing that game and choose to be in the same guild with us, you can go to the following link and sign up.
The pre-launch guild creation requires at least 4 people with pre-ordered copies of the games to make the guild (i.e. save our name) before launch. It will put us on a random PvP server. I've left as much of our structure the same (time zones, server types, etc). If we don't like it where it puts us, we'll move as needed to somewhere better suited.
Along with that, if you are planning to play, start thinking of a LAST NAME. Once Act I is finished, you unlock the Legacy System that will give all toons created after that a last name so that alts are easily recognized. I believe Sparky already has his picked out lol

Augas REALLY needs more bank space and with that in mind, we are issuing a guild wide challenge! We are searching for the following race/class combinations to complete the Stay Classy guild achievement:
Human Hunter Night Elf Rogue Gnome Warrior Gnome Death Knight (Rampog! Grats on your 5k!) Dwarf Mage Dwarf Warlock
The achievement requires that you get to 85 and HONORED with the guild with those particular class/race combos.
We will be awarding the FIRST person that gets one of those class/race toons to honored with 5000 gold. The first person for each race/class combo after that will receive 1000g. We have quite a few people with these race/class combos already existing in guild -- all you have to do is level it! There are no restrictions for completing this challenge! Anything goes!
As the rep grinders hit honored with that particular class/race, the website will be updated with the winners name and award amount!
You have until 12am December 1st to complete this challenge. |

We promised we'd have this posted as soon as possible for you guys so you'd know what needs to be worked on. Looking over loot lists from the new 5 mans, it seems that even if you're missing something from Firelands, you'll be able to pick it up from a dungeon. This is the information I've compiled so far just to give you our point of reference on this. The equivalent to ZA/ZG is ilvl 378 out of the new dungeons so that is our bottom of the barrel lowest ilvl we will expect you to have. So day 1 of 4.3 if you're missing stuff, better start farming! While we'd like to keep the group at a 25 man level, if we only have 10 people ready to rock, then we'll be back to 10 manning until people catch up. So please make an effort to show up to raids between now and then so we don't have to resort to that!
4.3 will have new item levels for people to acquire. Here's the list of what comes from each place to help you decide on your best course of action (if needed) to be ready. Obviously, you cannot access it right now, so Firelands raiding is your only option!
New 5 Man Dungeons - ilvl 378 gear Looking for Raid - ilvl 384 (last encounter in the raid is ilvl 390) Demon Soul Normal - ilvl 397 (last encounter in the raid is ilvl 403) Demon Soul Heroic - ilvl 410 (last encounter in the raid is ilvl 416) Crafted - ilvl 397
Ok so with that in mind, and after going through armory profiles again today, most people are winding down on their gearing needs. On average it looks like most people are missing about 4-6 items to be full 378. Some lower, some higher. Keep in mind we have a handful that are just beginning to gear and so that is being considered as well.
Pretty much the only thing we have issues acquiring is.........weapons and trinkets. So those will be on the exception list. Here are the requirements for all raiders in the guild come 4.3
- NO PvP gear - at all - period.
- Full Enchants - get the good ones. Don't be a cheap ass. We'll be looking!
- Gemmed Correctly for your class/spec. If in doubt, look it up. Noxxic.com is pretty good with that info.
- Have all 9 glyphs equipped. If you need a glyph, ask me for one. We have the technology!
- Minimum 378 ilvl in every slot with the following exceptions:
- Weapons - must be minimum 365. I understand we've had crap drops but that doesn't mean you should still be running around with a 353 or 359. Craft one if you have to.
- Trinkets - must be minimum 365. We don't see many of those either but there's no excuse for not having Molten Front trinkets or something from Direbrew. If a Darkmoon card is still your BiS, let me know.
We're basically doing exactly the same thing we did going from T11 to T12. If you didn't have 100% T11 gear, we were ok with 353 gear from ZA/ZG. This will be exactly the same thing. Didn't finish T12? Farm the new dungeons to finish it.
If there are any questions, please let me know. Eudy
